"Meow!" Cats Speak Out #4

Tiger meowed repeatedly until his owner caved and gave him another treat. Tiger purred as he ate the delicious treat. He rubbed his face against his owner's chin and then, at the sound of the doorbell ringing, he walked into the hall.

Tiger saw a human-no! TWO humans carrying a large package. Tiger's owner was now talking to them. Tiger sighed and sat down waiting for them to finish jabbering the day away and bring in the thing already. He needed to explore this object to make sure that it would pass "the home inspection".

Soon his human signed for the thing and the other people left. Tiger watched as his owner hauled the large object into the house all alone. Tiger decided to help his owner. He rubbed his owner's legs encouragingly. His owner stumbled and dropped the box right on Tiger! Tiger managed to get away (mostly) but the package hit his tail. Tiger screeched in pain and his human yowled with surprise. Within seconds, his owner lept to Tiger's side and puled the box off Tiger's tail. Tiger stumbled away from the box and flopped onto the bed. Sleep easily came to him.

Meet Tiger

Tiger walked into his owners bedroom, after a nice midnight meal. To announce his presence,meowed, "Mew! Mew! I'm here!" he cried. No answer. Tiger sighed. He desperately wanted tub water. Even though his owner was asleep, he was still going get some. So, he lay down on the floor, and rolled over, belly up. He waited, and waited until he fell fast asleep

The next morning, Tiger awoke, just before his human. He meowed a distinctive "Murr?" to let his owner know that he was there. When his human looked at him, he waited just one second before he flipped over, and trotted out the door and sat down.

When his owner went into the hall to go downstairs, Tiger ran into the bathroom and jumped into the tub. "Oh, alright." his owner sighed, turning the tub water on. 'Now, THAT is the right way to get a drink.' he thought as he lapped up the flowing water.

Famous Pirates

Blackbeard, also Edward Teach:

Blackbeard is one of the most well-known pirates, and one of the most terrifying, at that. When he was about to pillage a ship, Blackbeard would light fuses in is large black beard to strike fear into the hearts of the crewmen abroad the fellow ship. He strapped pistols to himself as that he would be able to quickly kill. Many people that saw him thought that he was the devil!

Blackbeard was killed on November 22, 1718 in a fight with the Royal Navy of Britton. It took five gunshots and more then twenty sward cuts to kill him!

Calico Jack, also John Rackham:

Calico Jack was known by this name for the calico coats that he would ware. He has mostly been remembered by his work with two famous female pirates, Anne Bonny and Mary Read, and was only moderately successful in his life as a pirate.

Calico Jack was caught by the British Navy. It was much for the Navy easier then it normally would have normally been. Calico Jack's crew was drunk, so the fight was lost quickly. On November 16, 1720, Jack was sentenced to being hung. This was carried out the next day.

Mary Read:

Mary Read was a tomboy girl who dressed and acted like a man. She ran away at 13 to sail away abroad a ship. A few years later, she enlisted in the army. It was then that she fell in love with a fellow soldier. Mary Read was wedded to him, began to dress like women did, and opened a hotel with her husband. Later, when her husband died, she went back to sea. Calico Jack then captured her ship and she befriended him and Anne Bonny. She became a pirate along with her two friends.

Many Read was captured with Calico Jack and Anne Bonny by the British Navy. She and Anne escaped being hung due to their possibly feigned pregnancy. They were both imprisoned instead. Mary died, still in prison, not long after this from sickness.

Anne Bonny:

Anne Bonny was a courageous, independent and headstrong woman. Like Mary Read, Anne Bonny married a young soldier by the name of James Bonny. She was stolen from her husband by Calico Jack, resulting to her unlikely friendship with him. She, Mary Read and Calico Jack. Anne Bonny disguised herself as a man and joined Jack in a life of piracy.

Later, as described above, the three of them were captured, and she and Marry said that they were pregnant (which was possibly untrue), and their hanging was postponed and they were put in prison until they gave birth. Anne Bonny mysteriously disappeared and was never seen or heard from again.

• Cats always will blink when you touch their hyper-sensitive whiskers.

•Milk is not good for cats, most are allergic to it. Feeding milk to your cat can cause him or her to have diarrhea. Cats can have Soy milk, Almond milk, and Coconut milk without any allergic reactions.

• Unneutered male cats may be less affectionate and may spray household objects such as couches and chairs and may also develop cheek jowls and thick neck skin.

•The sound of bats fluttering their wings sounds like a drum roll to a cat's ears.
